The contact information above provides you with a number of ways to contact Excelsior College. While it is tempting to call them to pay for your examination, our students have encountered a number of problems using this approach. Some of their negative experiences include:
- Having a hard time understanding the other person's accent.
- Showing up for a scheduled examination, only to find out that Excelsior College did not post the payment.
- Payment information not sent to Pearson Vue in a timely fashion.
As you can see, calling is not the best option. In this day and age, eliminating the human error factor by using your computer is always the best way to go.
To begin, click this link:
1. On the top, right hand side of the web page, you will see a yellow link called "Login". Click on this link.
2. Login using the user name and password you choose.
3. As you review the web page, notice the boxes on the right side. Find the box entitled, "MyEC Exams Resources and Serives". Click on the second link, "Excelsior College Exams Registration".
4. Scroll down the next page and click on the circle before "I Agree", then click on the "Continue" button.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and click on the "Continue" button.
6. Fill in your Social Security Number and answer all questions on this page. Please remember that the nursing program IS NOT eligible for financial aide. Click on the "Continue" button.
7. Find the examination you wish to take on the list that appears and click on the square box in the left column beside the examination number. Click on the "Continue" button. Note that the price is listed in column 5. If the examination is grayed out, you are not eligible to take it. Please contact Accelerated Learning Center for any questions related to this at (615) 742-8078.
8. On the next page, click on the "One Time Payment" button. Note the price of the examination
9. At the bottom of the next page, insert your credit card information and click on the "Continue" button.
10. As you complete this process, you should get a confirmation number for the payment. Write this down as you will need it to schedule your examination date with Pearson Vue Testing Center.
